Biography: Philip Youell – Chief Executive

Philip joined EC Harris in 1996 and was appointed Chief Executive in May 2003. 

In this role he has concentrated on the firm’s overall direction and operational delivery. He is also responsible for structural, personnel, financial, brand or strategic changes within the business, including mergers, acquisitions and investments. 

Before joining EC Harris Philip worked for specialist agricultural bank, AMC, and for TSB Lloyds Bank, where he gained considerable experience in marketing, distribution and new product launches.

Philip was born in Grays in Essex and has a degree in Business Studies, Diplomas in Marketing and Direct Marketing and an MBA from Henley Management College.
