Matt Bennion -
Chief Operating Officer
Matt Bennion joined EC Harris in 2002 and
helped to establish EC Harris’ management consultancy and
transformational change business. In 2008 he became an Executive
Group Board Member, with group wide responsibility for service,
people and business operations. This includes responsibility
for the delivery of the best possible outcomes to our clients,
including the quality and relevance of our services and the
capability, engagement and behaviours of our people. This
remit was extended in 2010 to include all business management as
COO.
Matt has extensive experience of major
projects, programmes and business ventures and has specialist
skills in supply chain and change management - working with clients
such as: BAA, Railway Procurement Agency, Balfour Beatty, IBM,
Barclays Bank, Aldar and Sama Dubai to deliver benefits from
improvements in asset and supply chain performance, corporate
strategy and organisational effectiveness.
In addition to project experience, Matt’s career
includes international assignments in Dubai and Ireland and the
mobilisation of a new 500 person joint venture for Project
Management.
Prior to EC Harris, Matt was a partner at Davis Langdon, providing
cost and commercial management solutions for clients such as Land
Securities, BAA, BAA Lynton, Abstract Securities and the London
Docklands Development Corporation. Before this Matt trained as a
Quantity Surveyor with Wates Construction.
Matt has a degree in Quantity Surveying and is a Member of the
Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
