EC Harris
receives accreditation by the
APM
[March 2010]
International built asset consultancy, EC
Harris, has become the first professional services firm to achieve
Corporate Accreditation by the Association for Project Management
(APM) for its alignment with best practice in project management
and development of the skills of its Project Managers.
The APM is the largest independent
professional body of its kind in Europe, aiming to develop and
promote project management across all sectors of industry and
setting the benchmark for excellence in the field. The APM is
also currently seeking Chartered status on behalf of the UK project
management profession.
Liz Wilson, Head of Professional Standards and
Knowledge at the APM comments; “EC Harris’ project management
processes are well deserved of accreditation status. The built
asset consultancy is our first professional services firm to
receive this recognition, and we hope it encourages others to
follow as it reinforces the professional approach to project
management that we continue to
champion.”
Keith Andrews, Partner at EC Harris adds;
“Recognition of EC Harris’ project management processes by the
leading industry body enables us to stand out as an exemplar in the
development of project management professionals and assists us in
attracting and retaining the best talent in project
management.”
The APM Accreditation recognises the
commitment of EC Harris and its professional development processes
to the project management profession, assisting in the firm’s
ability to provide positive outcomes for its clients.
