EC Harris Partner Chairs the Leading Energy

Mark Stewart, Partner at Built Asset
Consultancy EC Harris, has been appointed acting Chairman of the
Energy Industries Council (EIC).
The EIC is the leading Trade Association for UK
companies that supply capital goods and services to the energy
industries world-wide. The EIC is the largest organisation of
its kind in the UK, with over 550 of the UK’s Energy supply chain
as members.
Currently Deputy Chairman, Mark’s post as acting
Chairman will take effect from 1st May 2009. Mark
has also agreed to take over the Chairmanship of the Performance
and Remuneration Committee, which is responsible for appointing a
senior figure from the energy industry as the new Chairman.
On his appointment, Mark said; “This is an
important achievement, and I’m proud to be a part of shaping the
energy industry and supporting the key players within it.”
Mark has served on the Board and as a
non-executive director for over four years and was recently
re-elected by the 550 members to serve an additional term of three
years.
